No — the matt black finish is specifically chosen for its fingerprint and water-spot resistance. Unlike polished chrome, the non-reflective surface conceals daily marks, keeping your tap looking clean with minimal wiping.
All ARNO black boiling water taps use PVD coating, the same technology found in premium watches and designer hardware. This creates a finish that is highly resistant to scratching, chipping, and fading, maintaining its depth and colour for years.
Matt black works exceptionally well in modern handleless kitchens, industrial-style spaces with exposed brick or concrete, and monochrome designs. It also makes a striking contrast against white or light grey cabinetry, and pairs naturally with black cabinet handles or pendant lighting.
Yes. The ARNO black collection includes the Flex (with 30cm pull-out hose) and the Square (with 360° swivel spout), each available in 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 configurations. There is also a Classic Square mechanical model for those who prefer lever controls over a touchscreen.
A boiling water tap, also known as an instant hot water tap, is a kitchen fixture that provides near-boiling water directly from the spout, eliminating the need for a kettle. It works with a compact boiler tank installed under your sink. This instant water heater tank connects to your cold water supply, heats the water to a set temperature (e.g., 98°C), and stores it ready for immediate use. When you activate the dedicated handle, you get instant hot water on tap.
A standard hot water tap dispenses hot water from your home’s main plumbing system (typically 40-60°C), which is used for washing dishes or hands. A boiling water tap provides much hotter, near-boiling water (around 98°C) from its own dedicated boiler unit, perfect for making drinks or cooking. Most ARNO models are multi-functional, offering both standard hot water and instant boiling water from the same fixture.
